Working out reduces stress. It increases energy levels. Exercising can make you happy. There is just one problem – all the gyms are closed now. Those needing to move are pretty much limited to running and whatever they can do in their house. One thing that almost anyone can do is yoga. Here is the good news – Down Dog, a yoga app, is now offering all of their classes for free.
In addition to offering free classes for everyone until May 1st, Down Dog is providing free access until July 1st for all students and teachers (K-12 and college). If that wasn’t enough, they are extending free access until July 1st for all healthcare professionals.
I am no yoga expert but I can do the Lotus Flower pose. I did several of the beginner classes with Down Dog and I found them to be great. They were at a speed I could keep up with, directions were clear, and overall just great. I typically don’t recommend products that I haven’t used myself.
At a time when everything is cancelled or postponed, it’s good to know that there are companies doing something nice for everyone. Enjoy your at-home yoga classes and reduce your stress further by deleting your Facebook account. Stay healthy, friends.
